Just 20 minutes from the Brittany holiday cottage with private pool and gym is the medieval town of Hennebont overlooking the river Blavet.
Most years Hennebont holds its medieval festival and this year its being held on the weekend of 26th & 27th July 2014. For a video of the festival click here
It's a wonderful day out and highly recommended to guest staying at La Forge and La Veille maison the Brittany holiday cottages based in Kerbourbon just outside of the market town of Baud.
Anyone can join in with dressing up for the festival in medieval costume and those that are dressed for the occasion can take part in the grand parade.
