Today at our Brittany holiday cottage with private heated swimming pool near Baud our first guest of the year arrived for a 2 week stay on a house hunting trip - the guest wished to stay in February to see for himself what the climate was like for this time of year.

It was a lovely bright sunny day for his arrival but with a cold wind.

The guest took advantage of our current late booking offer in booking at just £225 per week reduced from £299 and the 20% Brittany ferry discount on his crossing.

We warmed the holiday cottage up prior to his arrival and provided a complimentary bag of logs for the fire.

This afternoon I spent another few hours in the sunshine working on the play center for the children to enjoy during there holidays and young James tested the slide. Unlike before when he used it just on some outside steps it was now set at the correct height and he was flung of the slide at the bottom and he thoroughly enjoyed it - we just made sure we were at either end for safety reasons.
