Today at the Brittany holiday cottages with heated pool we set our alarm clocks to rise in order to get to Hennebont for its Thursday morning market, but alas Naomi was not feeling well today so we will go next week.

Its possible to visit a lively market every day of the week in the surrounding area  of the Brittany holiday cottages La Forge and La Veille maison and I am always at hand to advice guest where and when to go or they can find within the cottages all the information within the welcome pack.

To safe time and energy and for guest not to miss any special events going on during there holiday I always raid the local tourist offices and grab all the media for the year.

Buying the chickens for children to interact with at the Brittany holiday cottage with heated swimming pool has been a great success.

Last year as a special treat I have introduced my daughters pet corn snake 'Chilli' to children staying at the holiday cottages who have really enjoyed holding him and for some even feeding him. For a video of Chilli feeding click here.

La Forge is available to rent throughout the year while La Veille Maison is available from 25th May until the start of September.

La Forge and La Veille Maison the Brittany holiday cottages with a heated pool are wonderful holiday cottages situated in the hamlet of Kerbourbon.

For guest staying at the cottages a night swim is always recommended and anyone wishing to enjoy a warm swim under the stars only has to request that the pool lights be switched on.

One challenge I have for those staying at the Brittany holiday cottage with private heated pool is the underwater challenge.  How many lengths can you swim with a single breath underwater...the current record is 7 lengths..click here for a close to record swim

My daughter who at the age of 8 managed 3 lengths..well done to her beating my best mate Tony.

The swimming pool at the Brittany holiday cottages La Forge and La Veille Maison is open from mid March until the first week of October and is heated throughout that period.

Carnac is a wonderful place to visit and is highly recommended for guest staying in La Forge and La Veille Maison the Brittany holiday cottages with heated swimming pool.

Mid March at the Brittany holiday cottage with private heated swimming pool is the time of the year that the swimming pool is opened ready for the start of the main holiday season starting at the Easter half term.

During the Easter holiday guest staying in La Forge have private use of the heated swimming pool and garden as La Veille Maison is not available to rent until 25th May.

As you can see from the enclosed picture the swimming pool is situated with wonderful  views over looking the countryside surrounding the Brittany holiday cottages.

With a road trip yesterday to Lorient, which is just a 20 minute drive from the Brittany holiday cottage with private heated swimming pool we decided to finish with a meal at the Palace d' Asie .

We had a wonderful meal and would always recommend the restaurant to guest staying at either La Forge or La Veille Maison.

 

The Brittany holiday cottages La Forge and La Veille Maison are situated in the lovely hamlet of Kerbourbon just 3 miles from the market town of Baud
