A few weeks ago at the Brittany holiday cottage with heated pool I created a short film on how to clean a swimming pool that has turned green with Algae, I will state that there were no guest staying at the holiday cottages that week and I deliberately allowed the pool to turn green for the purpose of making the film.

The pool remains clean all season for the benefit of guest staying in La Forge or La Veille Maison is is looked after on a daily basis.

This week at the Brittany holiday cottage with heated pool was a double change over so it was all hands on deck as both La Forge and La Veille Maison had guest.

It was the first guest to stay within La Veille Maison for the season, this cottage has a restricted amount of weeks available, where as La Forge is available to rent all year.

The week before the guest arrived I finished painting the en suite master bedroom of La Veille Maison and was very impressed with the final result, including the addition of some new pictures.

After the success of  enlarging the lawn area at the Brittany holiday cottage with heated pool a few weeks ago, I decided to tackle another area of the garden removing another shrub and sowing some additional grass seed, creating an additional 5 square meters of lawn and usable garden.

I also popped down to a local garden center and bought some new plants for the garden including a banana plant and a new bird of paradise.

My aim for the garden at the Brittany holiday cottage is to plant a lot of semi tropical plants to enjoy while soaking up the sun  beside the swimming pool.

I've been very busy pre-season at the Brittany holiday cottage with heated pool and gym by creating a new seating area in the garden.

Ive had a friend bring his digger in to remove a hazelnut tree  next to the rear gate and an additional large evergreen shrub. In there place I've sown a new lawn and placed 2 large blue flower pots where the plants were and will place a bench in between the pots for guest staying at either La forge or La Veille Maison to enjoy the late afternoon sun. In addition I have also cut away a row of hanging branches from the giant evergreen in the garden to allow more sunshine into the garden.

Its made a big difference to the look and feel to the garden, increasing the amount of lawn and allowing more light in to the garden.

The children s swing remain in the shade to keep the sun off the younger guest enjoying the holiday cottages.

This week at the Brittany holiday cottages to rent with heated pool and gym I installed a new piece of equipment in the gym. We now have a leg extension / leg curl machine, so with that and a squat rack you can really train your legs while staying at either La Forge or La Veille maison.

The gym is available for all guest to use and I'm always available to assist with your work outs or to train with.

Some thing new for the Brittany holiday cottage with pool blog is the friends of the Brittany holiday cottage pages and to start with I would like to introduce Cebu estate agency based in the Philippines.

Its Easter weekend and the pool is open at La Forge and ready for guest staying to enjoy. La Veille Maison is available to rent at the end of May so until that time the swimming pool is offered on a private basis.

In November I bought my daughter a Bloodred corn snake for when she is with me during the school holidays at the Brittany holiday cottage with private pool.

She loves her time here especially when there are children of the same age staying in either La Forge or La Veille maison.
