Brittany holiday cottage with private swimming pool and gym

Yesterday at the Brittany holiday cottage with private swimming pool and gym I was back in the gym.

After 35 years of natural bodybuilding I started dead lifting in January for the first time and failed to lift 120kg - after being inspired by friends progress and training tips I managed 150kg -330lbs for 4 reps today - the comeback has started! The aim to compete again in 2016.

My combined total weight for personal best now to date for squat, bench press and dead lifts is 530kg - 1166lbs ( min 2 reps). 

I'm feeling strong again - the gym at La Forge offers any one a great workout with a variety of machines and free weights to use.

Today at our Brittany holiday cottage with private heated swimming pool we announced some late booking bargains for holidays in May staying in La Forge.

From 2nd May until 23rd May book a week for just £375 reduced from £549 and enjoy the heated swimming pool on a private basis or book 2 weeks for just £700.

Brittany holiday cottage with private heated pool and gym

Today at the Brittany holiday cottage with private heated pool and gym I set a new personal best for dead lifts - 144 kg ( 316 lbs) for 1 rep.

I managed 4 reps for 140 kg but it was staggering how heavy the extra 4 kg made to the bar - not only on my back but also my grip.

I did try 150 kg last week and failed so decided to increase in smaller increments - my goal is to get to 200 kg by the end of the year.

I'm doing the lifts without a back belt or wrist straps to improve back strength and grip.

If I look at my personal best for the 3 main disciplines - squats,dead lifts and bench press my total weight for 3 reps on each exercise is now  520 kg (1140 lbs)

My 1 rep max is not much higher but I've never been concerned with 1 rep weights.

The gym at the Brittany holiday cottage allows any one to have a great workout.
